By booking any of our UK cake decorating events you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the event content and prices without notice.
Event prices do not include accommodation.
UK registration requirements
Adults and Children over 10 years welcome.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian participating on a course.
Health & Safety
Cake decorating may require the use of utensils so there may be a risk of accidents.
All event participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing at the event.
We accept no liability for personal injury, or any loss of or damage to personal property.
We have a strictly no smoking policy.
Conduct
We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave without reimbursement of fees if their behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
Payment
Payments should be made in full at the time of booking an event.
All UK and International payments are welcome through PayPal
We only accept credit card telephone bookings in the UK
We do not accept telephone credit card bookings from outside the UK
We do not take bookings for accommodation but are happy to help with suggested places to stay.

UK Discount Vouchers
Discount vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with special offers or other promotions and are only valid for David Cakes Masterclasses taking place at his Cake Artistry Studios that advertise a discount deal within a promotion.
Special Promotional Offers
Special Promotional offers such a s ‘Book 2 places and get 1 place free’ apply to the course selected at the time of booking and are non transferable or redeemable should one place be cancelled.
UK Events
Once booked and paid for, all events are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change the content on any event and would give prior notification.
If an event is cancelled by David Cakes of Distinction, you will receive a full refund or offered a place on a rescheduled event.
Notification of your UK booking
Upon successful completion of you securing a booking with us you will receive confirmation by email, to your nominated email address.
Cancellation by You
David Cakes of Distinction International School of Cake Decorating Art & Design regrets that it cannot accept responsibility for students change in personal circumstances or work commitments and if you cancel your booking no refunds will be granted.
David Cakes is not responsible for students who do not attend classes due to weather conditions unless the entire course has been cancelled due to weather conditions.

Cancelled bookings are non-transferable. In the case of a medical injury or illness that would affect a student attending a booked course, a doctors certificate must be presented and David Cakes will issue a credit note or transfer the student to a future course date.
Cancellations by David Cakes of Distinction
In the unlikely event of cancellation by ourselves, the course will be rescheduled in a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible, we undertake to make an immediate full refund for the event.
If David Cakes cancels a course due to severe weather conditions, the course will be rescheduled in a reasonable period of time If this is not possible, we undertake to make an immediate full refund for the event.
Cancellations of an event being hosted by at another UK or International School
Cancellation of an event organised by another UK or International School that has booked the services of David Cakes to present a demonstration seminar, class or courses, the liability falls with the event organiser.
If David cakes is offered employment for teaching services by another UK or International School or event organiser who then fails to supply a working contract for David Cakes services, David Cakes reserves the right not to attend the hosting school / event organiser’s advertised event. If another UK or International school / event organiser has already taken student booking fees in advance for David Cakes teaching services, but has not issued a working contract to David Cakes, it is the responsibility of the events organiser to issue a full refund to the booking party involved.
Copyright & Acceptable Usage
Full copyright of event content developed by David Cakes of Distinction is retained by David Cakes of Distinction.
Event notes and reference materials are provided to support attendees in their studies and ongoing development and is issued for personal use only.
A lot of work has gone into the development of our event content and it has commercial value.
The sharing of event materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of David Cakes of Distinction.
