Terms & Conditions
By booking any of our UK cake decorating events you agree to abide by our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the event content and prices without notice.
Event prices do not include accommodation.
Registration requirements
Adults and Children over 10 years welcome.
Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian participating on a course.
Health & Safety
Cake decorating may require the use of utensils so there may be a risk of accidents.
All event participants will receive a short briefing on health and safety before commencing at the event.
We accept no liability for personal injury, or any loss of or damage to personal property.
We have a strictly no smoking policy.
Conduct
We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave without reimbursement of fees if their behaviour is unsafe or unreasonable in any way.
Payment
Payments should be made in full (where specified) at the time of booking an event.
We do not take bookings for accommodation but are happy to help with suggested places to stay.
We accept all payments via our credit card booking line on +44 (0)151 931 3331 open Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm
Cake Decorating Course Installment Plan
Selected courses offer an option of paying with an installment plan.
The deposit required is as advertised on the selected cake decorating class installment plan.
All deposits are non-returnable.
If remaining balances are not settled on the scheduled due dates, David Cakes of Distinction reserves the right to cancel the booking
If you cancel your booking there will be no refund. Cancelled bookings are non-transferable.

Discount Vouchers
Discount vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with special offers or other promotions and are only valid for David Cakes Masterclasses taking place at his Cake Artistry Studios that advertise a discount deal within a promotion.
Special Promotional Offers
Special Promotional offers such a s ‘Book 2 places and get 1 place free’ apply to the course selected at the time of booking and are non transferable or redeemable should one place be cancelled.
Events
Once booked and paid for, all events are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change the content on any event and would give prior notification.
If an event is cancelled by David Cakes of Distinction, you will receive a full refund or offered a place on a rescheduled event.
Cancellation by You
If you cancel your booking there will be no refund. Cancelled bookings are non-transferable
Cancellations by David Cakes of Distinction
In the unlikely event of cancellation by ourselves, the course will be rescheduled in a reasonable period of time.
If this is not possible, we undertake to make an immediate full refund for the event.
Notification of your Booking
Upon successful completion of you securing a booking with us you will receive confirmation by email, to your nominated email address.
Copyright & Acceptable Usage
Full copyright of event content developed by David Cakes of Distinction is retained by David Cakes of Distinction.
Event notes and reference materials are provided to support attendees in their studies and ongoing development and is issued for personal use only.
A lot of work has gone into the development of our event content and it has commercial value.
The sharing of event materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of David Cakes of Distinction.
